The IgnitedNation@Work™ 9-month women's leadership intensive for high potentials mobilizes women into meaningful action within their organizations and communities, utilizing their newly honed leadership throughout the program.
The Five Spark Platform:
Spark One: Uncover Your Strengths!
Emphasizing strengths, not weaknesses, is the pathway to leader excellence.
In the first Spark, women will begin to uncover and develop their greatest talents through reading materials, targeted exploratory work, two days of in-person training and follow-up group calls to lock in their learning. Their focus will be to learn to productively apply their strengths to solve pressing challenges in both in the workplace and their world.
Spark Two: The "Job Inside"
Everyone has "gremlins" which thwart performance. Successful leaders recognize & mitigate self-sabotaging behavior through constructive, empowering strategies.
In this Spark, participants identify their most common derailers, notice when derailers are emerging, & call upon their unique set of talents to make more productive, success-driven choices. Learning is delivered through reading materials, assessments, and thought-provoking in-person interaction, followed by group calls to solidify learning.
Spark Three: Finding Your Compelling Purpose
Engaged, inspired and fulfilled women leaders will have the necessary energy and motivation to go the distance for their organizations, and move mountains!
In this third Spark, participants ignite their passions and begin to channel that energy into service. They will identify and support the causes that truly matter to them — either those currently supported by their organizations, or other interest areas of their choosing.
Spark Four: Partnered By Design™
Success is rarely achieved on one's own. Performance is elevated exponentially when leaders collaboratively design intentional, strategic & aligned partnerships.
Leaders are rarely taught how to maximize partnerships. They either "fall into" a great collaboration, and don’t know why it worked, or they struggle when partnered with people who are different from themselves. We are committed to transforming partnerships from reactive mediocrity to the exemplification of thoughtful excellence. In Spark four, participants gather for 2 days, learn from relevant reading, use a proprietary partner optimization tool, and begin their prepatory work in anticipation of their final, in-market projects. Participants have a mulitude of group calls over the course of 8 weeks to ensure they are clear on their final deliverables.
Spark Five: Giving Back, Making It Real: Final In-Market Service Projects
Any leadership training is only as valuable as its participants' ability to apply learned concepts on the job and beyond.
We, of the IgnitedNation@Work platform, believe strongly that service is a critical component to employee engagement and corporate citizenship. In the final Spark, partipants will be partnered and, through collaborative selection, will choose worthy causes "out there" in their world to elevate in some meaningful way. Using all that they have learned, they will set goals, design their roadmap, create their unique compass to guide them on their journey, and document the entire process, highlighting their leader learning. They will be pushed outside their comfort zones in service of their leadership, relying on themselves and their partners to create a transformative experience. The project will conclude with a final presentation to fellow participants and their managers, culminating in a ceremonial completion celebration.
